garyKarin lives with her family in Hendra, Brisbane Australia. At an early age she and her mother left Tully in Queensland and joined her father in Goroka, Papua New Guinea where her father had the local sawmill and a coffee plantation.

Karin’s paintings mirror her zest and passion for life, and usually involve dramatic colour sensations, mood and drama. Karin paints realism, abstract, and everything in between. She has been in 18 group exhibitions to date and has won several awards. Her artistic skills developed under the guidance of Queensland Artists Ann Kent, Eric Whisson, Dale Marsh and South Australian artists, Arthur Phillips and Trevor Newman.

She is a member of the Adelaide Art Society and is an exhibiting member of the Royal Queensland Art Society in Brisbane.
